FAQ
How do I book a session?
Booking is easy! You can enquire with me through my social media or by filling out the contact form on my website.
When you get in touch, please include as much information as you can, such as the type of session you're looking for, any preferred dates, who'll be attending, and anything else you'd like me to know. The more information you include, the quicker I can check availability and get you booked in.
What's the best time of day to have a session?
I will always recommend having your photoshoot during golden hour, or when the sun is lower in the sky. This helps avoid harsh midday shadows and creates that soft, warm golden light that photographs beautifully.
That said, if golden hour isn’t possible, don’t worry. I’m always happy to be flexible and work around what suits your family best, weather permitting.
Are the sessions natural or posed?
This really depends on what you prefer.
I love capturing natural, candid moments the most, however some families do need a little direction at times and that’s completely fine.
One thing I won’t do is ask you to sit and smile at the camera and say “cheese.” Instead, I focus on creating relaxed moments where real laughter and genuine smiles happen naturally, so I can capture you as you truly are.
Do you travel?
Yes! At the moment, I can travel throughout Norfolk and Suffolk for weekend sessions.
Most of my weekday shoots take place locally around Poringland and the surrounding areas, but I'm always happy to travel a little further if needed.
Please note that any sessions taking place outside of Norfolk (more than a 15-mile radius from Norwich) will incur an additional travel fee. This will always be discussed with you before booking, so there are no surprises.
If you're looking to book a session outside of Norfolk and Suffolk or even somewhere that requires a plane ride, please don't hesitate to get in touch! Depending on the location and my availability, I'd love to see if we can make it happen.
How far in advance should I book?
I would recommend booking at least a month in advance to avoid disappointment, especially during peak times.
While I will always do my best to accommodate last-minute enquiries, I can’t guarantee availability if you enquire too close to your preferred date, as my diary can book up quickly.
If I’m fully booked, I won’t be able to fit additional sessions in, so the earlier you get in touch, the better.
What if my child doesn't behave?
Honestly? That's completely normal—and it's exactly why my sessions are child-led. I don't expect little ones to sit still or smile on command. We play, explore and follow their lead, capturing genuine moments instead of forced poses. Some of the most beautiful photos come from the moments parents worry about the most.
